Lead the Way is a feature documentary following Pita Limjaroenrat — former political party leader, citizen, and tireless fighter for democracy.
One year after being banned from politics, Pita refuses to step away from contributing to the conversation on the future of Thailand. With intimate access, our cameras follow him as he redefines leadership: leaning in to his role as a family man and friend while engaging with pioneers in politics, technology, business, and social activism.
This is not a story of defeat — it’s a story of perserverence. lead the Way captures the resilience of a citizen leader and the continual awakening of a generation.
In a time when giving up feels easy, Pita shows what it means to begin again — and how each of us can continue the fight in ways big or small.

The Film
Lead the Way is a journey through a pivotal year in Pita Limjaroenrat’s life after politics. More than a political figure, Pita becomes a mirror to our hopes, doubts, and dreams for democracy.
Through in-depth conversations with innovators across disciplines — from future policymakers to tech visionaries and civic activists — the film reveals the deeper question: how do you keep believing, creating, and fighting for change, even when the system pushes back?
Shot across key cities around the world, Lead the Way is a personal and political portrait of resilience, filmed over a year of transformation.
Why It Matters
Thailand still stands at a crossroads. Around the world, democracy faces new tests.
Lead the Way is more than a film about one man — it’s about the invisible work of change, and the courage to persist.

When we lose, it’s easy to grow silent. But democracy doesn’t vanish — it waits for those willing to fight on. Through Pita’s journey, we are reminded that change isn’t just won in parliaments — it’s built in classrooms, startups, protest lines, and conversations.
This film calls on all of us: keep showing up. Keep dreaming. Keep leading — in our own way.
